FRIDAY the 13th and FRIDAY a full moon

January 13, 2017… today falls on a Friday when there is a full moon ( officially the full moon was yesterday but it is still full)! It’s a beautiful day along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. All the rain the last couple days took most of the snow away and at 8:30 this morning it’s 10 degrees!

PS. I had my windows open all afternoon. There was such a nice breeze!

And … it’s Friday!!!

What to do this weekend? Tomorrow the temperatures are expected to drop so it’s gonna be a bit colder, ok a lot colder ( we’re talking drop to -20 degrees) and we have friends visiting from New Brunswick for a couple days. Maybe we will do a little sight seeing or maybe we will just stay cozy inside!

Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.

    1. Haha. Yes because I was busy cleaning and the fresh air was nice. When David came home from work he closed them! But then he went out without a coat and washed our car and SUV. It was just too nice! Today is -10 and FREEZING!!!!! Hope you and DJ are having a great weekend too!!!

      1. WOWZA! -10 is intense! When I lived in Indiana it went down to -30 one year, and we couldn’t really do anything or leave campus so my friends and I lived on oatmeal and apples for like three days hahah. I’m so adjusted to this climate, I’m not sure I could handle it! Hopefully it’s warmed up a bit up there in Nova Scotia now 😉 HAPPY SUNDAY !

      2. We had a great Sunday, Thanks MacKenzie! Yes -4 today and snowing a light dusting. Thankfully this weekend was a relax time just chatting with friends that were visiting so we weren’t outside too much. This week will be a bit warmer. Ive been making all kinds of yummy soups to enjoy so that’s kinda fun. Tonight we’ll watch little football…Cowboys are playing 😀 Hope you guys are having a great Sunday too!!!
