Ahh…last night there was a beautiful December full moon! Here is a picture that Terry Conrad took and our local weather broadcaster shared of the full moon over Lunenburg, Nova Scotia last night. I love it!
A crisp cool moon reflecting on clean white snow and shining over the harbour.
On a little side note. Do you know what I noticed about Facebook while I was in China?
Take a look…
In China
And here in Canada
Notice the difference?
I thought it was pretty cool!!!
Have a good night!
I just got all caught up on your posts βΊ It looked like the last stretch of your trip was amazing. Also- that rice congee looks so good! I picture it to be like a cream of mushroom a bit? You look so cute in that hat!!! How do things work with shopping there? Is it cheaper than in the US or more expensive based on the currency exchange? When I went to India I loooooved the long flights! I loved all the authentic Indian meals on the way too. It looks like you were able to sleep a good chunk of those 12 hours βΊ Happy baking!!!!! It also sounds like you have your hands full. I donβt know how you do it all, Wonder Woman!!!! That moon is absolutely beautiful too. LOVEEE reading your travels. Have a great rest of your day, and I hope you can catch up on some good sleep! Iβm about to lose a few hours myself!!! β€

The whole trip was AMAZING!! Just not long enough. The congee is more like a pureed rice pudding, quite bland for the most part but I like it after such a crazy long ( no sleep) flight. It’s better than the eggs, potatoes and white sausage. In the markets there is a lot of bargaining and you never pay the original price. Things are definitely cheaper, especially with the US dollar ( a little bit more for Canada) but still so much cheaper. I would love to go to India someday…Indian food is delish, but then I am a foodie and love everything. My baking is complete! Hope your travel goes well…have so much fun with your family!!
